Loving life right now! God is good! He remains constant; he was, is and will forever be good! Today was good, just returned from the prayer meeting where we prayed for the church, ministry, mission, overseers, leadershi, etc. My small group leader and friend came up to me and prayed for me and afterwards said she felt purity coming from me and that God had a harvest for me, to keep spending time with God and he has much fruit to harvest for me. I then opened my bible and read this "then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." That was so encouraging! Thank you Lord! Definitely up for spending more time with God and him speaking to me more! Can't wait to see the seeds I've sown harvested as well! Really exciting! Oh more God! More!
I love you Jesus! He is so good. Like I said, I've been praying for my boyfriend whilst he's away this week and we skyped last night and God is doing some crazy awesome things for him too! I won't go into details, it's his life, but God is speaking to him and meeting with him often and I just pray it continues even after he returns from this week! Thank you Lord for what you're doing in both our lives :)
I want to live in all the fullness of God! Let me experience that God, I seek you with all of my heart, let me find you! Thank you that when I seek, you are found. That when I ask, it is done. That when I knock, you open the door! You never leave me or forsake me and I am so grateful! Thank you God! I pray I would never become satisfied with living without you, let me continually thirst for more of you and continually be drenched in your spirit. There is always enough, thank you! Help me to love more easily, even to the people I don't know or have hurt me. Help me to love with your love, shape my heart to be like yours! I pray people would see the way I live and turn to you because of it! Not to us, but to your name be the glory! Amen!

Second day
Topics to pray for today:
Personal – pray for every believer:
Rediscovering “our first love” (Rev 2)
Spiritual ears to be unblocked
Walking well with God
Worshipping Jesus in daily life
Quiet Times with God - hearing his voice
To be full of the Holy Spirit
Strong marriages
Godly families
Honouring singles
Stewardship / financesThis is what our church is praying for this evening so I thought I'd pop it on here so if you're stuck for ideas of what to pray for then you can join us! I think this is such an important aspect of our lives; walking well with God! I want to have quiet times more often, hear from God more often and spend my life worshipping him! I'd love to have quiet times with my boyfriend sometimes too, my best friend and I used to occasionally do that before she moved but I think it's important to spend time with God alone and with other people who are important to you. There are so many benefits of spending time with Jesus, you will feel so blessed!
I find it really hard to try and live and walk in my own strength, I try to struggle against this culture on my own and I fail. I fall down, I get sucked into the world and don't live a life pleasing to God. I need his strength to carry on, I need him to help me. I need to spend time with him to recharge. He loves me when I'm good and when I'm bad. He loves me whether I spend time with Him or not. That's not why we do it. It's so we can experience the FULLNESS OF GOD! Don't you love that phrase? The Fullness of God! I want it! I want to experience the fullness of God, to experience heaven on earth!
If you're a creative person and find it hard to spend time with God why not worship him in creative ways such as painting or dancing or writing a song? God is so awesome! In games you can win and complete levels and even complete the game itself but with God you never reach the end of getting to know him; there's no end! God is eternal, no matter how much time we spend time with him we can never know just how good and awesome and full of love he is! He's just too big for our human minds! But oh it is so good when you spend time with him!
My soul longs for you Lord! Make me more like you! I pray that you would open our spiritual ears Lord, let us hear your voice more clearly! We are your sheep, we know you speak so help us to hear what you are saying! Help us to rediscover you and your love, to always put you first, you are the only God, you are the Lord, help us to stop putting other things before you! Only you Lord! Help us to worship you in our daily life and to spend more time with you everyday. Speak to us more God, give us prophecies and words of knowledge for others but also speak to us individually about our personal lives, speak to us more about your love and your plans and your goodness God! We love you so much! Thank you for giving us your Holy Spirit, thank you that we have your spirit dwelling in us, keep us longing after you, keep us seeking you. We ask for more God, more spirit, more love, more goodness, thank you for your grace! Thank you Jesus!! God help the church to be full of your love and to make a mark on this world, on this culture to change it! Form us to be more like you, living lives that are pure, holy and pleasing to you! Let us honour you with our hearts, minds, bodies and mouths. God we love you so much. I love you Lord! Thank you! You are good! You are the best! Thank you! Show us how we can experience the Fullness of God, show us the way Lord! AMEN!

Incredible Love...
I decided to write a list of some amazing books because if you haven't read them then you're missing out big time! So here goes, my favourite books (in no particular order!):
Compelled by love (Heidi Baker), Always Enough (Heidi and Rolland Baker), Chasing The Dragon (Jackie Pullinger), Moving In The Prophetic (Greg Haslam), Story Lines (Mike Pilavachi and Andy Croft), More Than Conquerors (Simon Guillebaud), and The Holy Bible.
Anyway. I was writing this post because I had read something in Story Lines which I found absolutely incredible. I always used to think that God was a bit harsh and a bit angry in the old testament and couldn't understand Him...As a bit of background to the bible if you've never read it, God created the world and made People (Adam and Eve). The world and everything in it was perfect, just as God intended. God's presence was with Adam and Eve and He loved them. God gave humans freewill and they ended up turning their backs on God. Each generation after that continued turning their backs on God and became 'unclean' and rebelled, but because God loved them He wanted to still be with them so He created these laws for them to be purified so that His presence could still be with them. The people didn't follow these laws and they ended up making idols and worshipping "Gods" made of wood and Gold. They even sacrificed their children to please theses man-made "Gods". This is an amazing example from the book I've been reading. Now imagine this:
Your best friend gets married. She loves him with all that she has but she comes home one day and finds him having sex with another woman. How totally heart-broken she would be. Instead of walking away, your friend chooses to forgive her husband and continues with the marriage, still loving him as much as she did before. She comes home a week later and this time he's sleeping with somebody else! The months go by and he sleeps with anyone and everyone, he does it publicly and without feeling any sense of shame. One day she comes home and finds to her utter horror that he has murdered their children to please another woman. Your friend is beyond devastated; she is totally shattered and absolutely broken. She comes to you for advice. What do you say? If we were God's counsellor and this moment we would've said "God, you've given it your best shot. She'll never change; she's had way too many lovers. It's not just that she has broken your heart, she's completely humiliated you! You've done everything you can to save the marriage. Now for your sake, walk away- no one would blame you!" An issue some have with the God in the old testament is why he got so angry; our honest question, having read this, is why didn't he get more angry?
Wow. I just think that is incredible. I mean I wouldn't blame God if he gave up on us, in fact I'd probably even advise it! Instead, he sent his only son, Jesus, down to earth. To live as a man and then die and pay the punishment we deserve. We deserve total separation from God, we deserve to die, to pay the price for what we did. I used to think that because I had never murdered anyone it meant that I was a good person. Actually, we've all done something wrong. If you say you haven't you just lied. The thing is The Holy, Perfect, Incredible God can't be with us if we aren't completely pure. But he loved us, his creation, so much that he sent his son to die a horrific death that we deserve. The best news is that it's free! We can now be in his presence 24/7 because Jesus made a way, he pulled the plug out so that God's presence can flow again! God planned it from the beginning because he knew we couldn't do it! All we have to do is accept it. Believe it. It's free for anyone, from the murderer to the queen! If I gave you some cake for free, it's still free but it's up to you to take it, and if you do take it, if you then do something wrong, I'm not going to take the cake away from you! When you accept God's grace and love- it's for life. We don't and can't do anything to deserve his love but it doesn't matter because its free! It grace! Gods Riches At Christ's Expense! God loves us when we're good and he loves us when we're not! All we do is accept this amazing gift of Grace. Sounds incredible right? It's true! We will never be able to understand everything about God because we, in our human mindsets could never do what he did for us. Jesus said "Greater loves has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends". Jesus has that amazing love because he willingly gave up his own life for us. Guess what.. There's more. Not only did he die for us to cancel our debts forever, he rose again! He CONQUERED death! He slapped death in the face and rose above it! If we simply accept what Jesus has done for us then our sins are wiped away forever! I bet there's one thing you've done that you would cringe if anyone found out, well God wiped it off the slate. It's gone, forgotten because he cancelled it out and payed the price. All we do is choose to accept it.. or turn away. We have the choice because God gave us free will.

Compelled by Love
Had another awesome day today, went to my friend's house for a couple of hours and she lent me a book called "compelled by love" by Heidi Baker. I read the introduction and was in tears!! It's an absolutely amazing book and if you ever get the chance, read it.
I feel like every day I'm getting one step closer to God; well I suppose I am seeing as every day we're one step closer to heaven! But I mean in my relationship with him. I know I never can and never will fully understand God but each day I learn something new, I learn how to love all over again, I learn what faith truly is, I understand more about our role as Christians on the earth. God is so amazing! He just loves to talk to us, to hold us, to whisper to us!
Anyway, in this book it talks about the "Western world" and how once she got a picture of "us" licking the crumbs from under the table, when there was a glorious feast on the table. It really made me think. Why are we settling for crumbs, when God invites us to a banquet?
I was walking into Tesco's today and as I was walking up to the door, God challenged me to lay hands on the sick and heal them in his name. I then literally walked into a woman in a wheelchair, but I just couldn't do it! I couldn't say to her, "Hi I'm a Christian. I can see your in a wheelchair, please could I pray for you to be healed?" I just couldn't! I doubted. I didn't have the faith. I didn't have the courage. I've been asking for opportunities to tell people about God and for people to be healed, yet here I was, rejecting this God-given opportunity! Yesterday, at youth group, we were praying for my friends back to be healed and we asked her how it was on a scale of 1-10 and she said 6, so we prayed again, she then said 10! And guess what we did?! We said "Really? Wow!"
... What is with that! We pray for faith, for healing, for people to know God and yet we are so surprised when God does something! No wonder we don't see many miracles in the "Western world"! I was talking to my friend's dad today, who was saying that Christians pray for God to heal someone, or to do something and then wait for God to do it, God does it through us; he gave us power and authority, not to just ask him and then sit around and wait, he gave us his authority to lay hands on the sick and heal them; he gives us the opportunities and then speaks through us or acts through us, he uses us for his glory!
Don't worry, it's so much easier said than done! But I want to do it too! I want to go out there, into the world and lay hands on the sick; and they will be healed, to pray for the dead; and they will be raised to life, to pray for the hungry; and they will never be hungry again!
God does these miracles in the bible. He does them in the world. Today. When we fall on our knees and cry out to God to see miracles and healing on a regular basis, it will happen!
But we can't pray and sit in our comfortable homes, lie in our comfortable beds, read amazing Christian books and go to sleep thinking "ah, that was nice, thanks God" and then nothing changes. The world needs change! We can pray to see miracles all we like but until we go out there, and lay hands on the sick as God commanded us to do, we won't see anything!
Where are the believers of miracles, the believers of love. They are out there. Are you one of them? Jesus is calling us to surrender to him and go out into our streets, our neighbourhoods, our towns, and expect salvation for our friends and family. How much do you love your friends and family? How much do you want to see them in heaven? How much more does God love them and want them in heaven!
Have you ever thought "I can't be bothered right now. I'm too tired. My life's just to busy." *Raises hand* I have. Even now, I sometimes feel that it's too much effort, even to pray for the energy! Sometimes, it's easier to not try, to simply carry on as the rest of the world does. But then we miss out on the beautiful things God wants us to experience!
I hope and pray that I never fall into the thinking pattern of this world, that I never stop loving Jesus and loving my 'neighbours' as he wants me too. I pray for more faith and confidence every day that when Jesus says to me "pray for that person". I will. God, would you do that? Please help me, equip me for your plan and for your will. I will do whatever you want me to do, help me Lord! Amen!
